Groundwork supports communities in need, working with partners to help improve the quality of people?s lives, their prospects and potential and the places where they live, work and play.
Jobs and volunteering
There are many opportunities to develop your career with Groundwork. Each Groundwork Trust is led by an Executive Director and employs a team of professional staff. This might include project managers, landscape architects, youth and community workers, education and business professionals, finance and administration staff. In addition Groundwork has a network of regional and national offices in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Volunteers
Groundwork Trusts regularly involve volunteers, especially people seeking work experience before moving into full-time paid employment. Volunteering opportunities will depend on the types of projects being run by individual Trusts. Undertaking voluntary projects can put people in a better position to obtain full-time work ? in fact many of Groundwork?s existing staff began their careers with us by volunteering.
