International teacherr play a crucial role in achieving our mission of providing Palestinians the resources necessary to gain language proficiency and professional skills. Hosting people from abroad helps to maintain a diverse cultural dialogue and language exchange.

This program of hosting internationals was founded in June 2011. Since then 200 interns and volunteers have worked with us from different countries like the USA, Germany, United Kingdom, China, The Netherlands and Switzerland etc. Interns who joined us were able to get to know the culture intimately and understand the situation in Palestine better. Moreover, many interns were accommodated with a Palestinian host family. We aim to achieve social discourse through cultural immersion. Interns live with a host family (availability permitting), and visit historical sites and cities in the city of Hebron. EC aims to make interns feel at home so that they have a positive and enriching time in Hebron. Participants have the ability to truly experience Palestinian life.

People from all educational backgrounds and from all over the world are welcome to apply for an Intern position. Interns are provided with 3 hours of conversational Arabic a week. During their time in Palestine, interns instruct language classes and provide administrative assistance while immersing themselves in Palestinian culture.
