London Waterloo Academy (LWA) is an independent establishment of Further and Higher Education provider since 2009. About 700 students study on the campus situated right opposite famous Waterloo Station and other historic building at the heart of London.

LWA welcomes all students from diverse backgrounds and encourages a multi-cultural community from the representatives of over twenty nationalities on campus each year. The college adheres to the founders’ initial objective to ‘support students to learn how to think critically for themselves and contribute towards making the world a better place.

The academy offers a wide range of professional programmes: Dental Nursing, Implant Dental Nursing, Dental Nurses in Practice, HND Health and Social Care, Airline Cabin Crew, Private Jet Cabin Crew, General English, ESOL, IELTS, Spanish, French, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, German, Chinese Mandarin languages, Health & Safety Compliance training (First Aid and CPR & Basic Life Support), Laughter Therapy, English Language Test UK for British Citizenship.

I booked a 12 week beginners Brazilian Portuguese course with LWA which was I really enjoyed. The school is very easy to get to located right by Waterloo tube/train station and the course was a lot cheaper than other schools in London.

Our teacher was from Brazil and he was fantastic, lessons were fun and the group was a good size. We did a lot of group activities and I did improve both speaking and writing as the weeks went on. I would recommend LWA.
