Whether a beginner and wish to try a 'discover scuba' course, an intermediate building on your experience, or a more advanced diver, and would like to venture into technical diving, Taprobane Divers could of helped!

Taprobane Divers opened in April 2016, the culmination of 8 years training and teaching both in recreational and technical diving. Rohan trained and taught in a number of countries including Sri Lanka, Thailand, Japan, Spain and the United Kingdom, gaining both his recreational and technical instructor ratings in England.

Rohan was passionate about diving and the underwater environment. Sri Lanka has stunning coral reefs, sea life and wrecks, and Rohan was keen to share this with all those who visit, whether novice divers for a discovery scuba course, fun diving or further recreational or tec diving courses.

Before returning to Sri Lanka in 2016, Rohan lived for 15 years in Japan where he studied Japanese Martial Arts focusing his training on karate, later becoming a Black Belt 5 Dan in the Goju Ryu style in 2007. For the last 5 years, Rohan has been living in England with his wife Emma.

Emma is a Rescue Diver with PADI and a Sports Diver with BSAC.  Emma was responsible for all the online and promotional activity and was able to help with any questions you may have had on dive packages or courses.

Taprobane Divers is now closed.
