The potential of the summer camp experience is limitless as we strive to deliver a dynamic and exciting program for all of campers and staff. You play a significant role at camp in shaping the lives of the campers. The skills you will gain, the children you meet and the friendships you will make, will create memories that will last a lifetime!

 

Staff

What are we Looking for? We offer 1, 2, 3 or 4 month work terms and are looking for staff who are:

  • Fun, Creative, Flexible and Skilled
  • Enthusiastic, Team-oriented, Dedicated
  • Preference to people with previous camp experience
  • Preference to people with First Aid, CPR, specific skills and qualifications

Counselling:
Living with campers in a cabin, participating with them in activities throughout the day and looking after all physical and emotional needs.

Activity Instructors:
Living with campers in a cabin. Teaching an activity throughout the program day.

Support Staff:
Support Staff are responsible for all of the “behind the scenes” areas of camp life. Wahanowin’s support staff do not live with campers, but are welcome to join a cabin group and participate with them when not on duty. Our support staff areas consist of our Dining Hall, Maintenance and Housekeeping.

Health Care Staff:
Health Centre Staff: 3rd year Nursing student, graduating or current RN (4 months: May to September and 2 months: July-August positions available)
