Volunteer at a Game Reserve

Sign up for the experience of your life and volunteer to work at a game reserve. There are placements all over the world but most are found in Africa. Most are fully functioning guest lodgez which can host 10 visitors in comfortable apartments and some cover an area of approximately 4000 hectares! Usually no profits leave the game reserves, all financial contributions are used for the day to day running of the reserves and lodges – tourism plays a role in funding. As a volunteers you will live on a game reserve in a fully furnished, fully equipped 2 bed apartment. All meals are prepared and included in the price you pay. Tasks include daily feeding of animals, counting breeding stock, monitoring general well being of the animals, assisting in medicating any sick animals, general maintenance of the farm including fencing and poaching prevention.
