The aim of Medical Electives Abroad is offer students an unforgettable elective experience, taking away all of the stress involved in trying to organise it yourself. The organisation was created by a doctor so our knowledge and experience is all first hand and genuine.

We know how difficult it can be to try to juggle studying, exam preparation and placements, without having to worry about all the different aspects of your placement like chasing hospital forms, finding suitable and safe accommodation, figuring out transport routes and finding a way to answer a million questions you might have. We take care of that for you, our team are always on hand to help and you will always have a point of contact while away.

Our electives included your hospital placement and fee, accommodation, transportation to your placement, three meals a day, airport transfers, pre departure support, a full induction and orientation when you arrive, certificate of completion and 24 hour support.

We can also help arrange additional projects for you to take part in during your time away such as working at a turtle sanctuary in Sri Lanka or helping run a free health fair in St Vincent. Our team can also help you arrange trips in your free time, recommending the best places to visit and how much to pay. This might be a safari to one of Sri Lanka's national parks, a beach weekend learning to surf, or swimming with turtles at the Tobago Cays.

We want to make sure you have the best experience possible.
