We work on 5 thematic areas which includes public policy analysis, field research, social enterprise, rural expeditions and cultural immersion. We are registered with the Registrar Generals Department and are affiliated with a lot of reputable organizations home and abroad. We are a non–profit, non–governmental, people-centered organization with a focus on education, livelihood, protection, environment and advocacy, which are embedded from our 5 thematic areas of operation.

The KARIBS Foundation is a national organization and works across the country with 5 administrative staff and 10 working regional coordinators in all the 10 regions respectively, and also with satellite working team globally.

Our core values are to inspire youth synergy, research, policy alternatives, civic education, information, literacy plus, skills development, social entrepreneurship, and to enhance inter-cultural learning, international teamwork, entrepreneurship, and concept development.

 

What We Need

Our projects seek to offer volunteers from around the globe the opportunity to leave a lasting impact in the lives of the children. Opportunities are provided for volunteers to spend time tutoring and playing with the children in their homes, visiting school children to help in extra studies, providing first aid assistance (If they can) to malnourished children. And introducing any innovative activities which is fit and necessary for the positive development of our children.

Major activities volunteers can or will engage on are but not limited to the following:
- Teach and support children with learning activities.
- Engage the children in extracurricular activities such as playing games art, etc.
- Help in the administration and management of the center.

Our projects is well-tailored to provide opportunity for family, group and individual volunteers from around the globe to leave a lasting impact in the lives of children. Opportunities are provided for volunteers to spend time tutoring and playing with the children in their homes, visiting school children to help in extra studies, teaching in community schools, working at the local hospital or clinic, and/or working in community education system through our established child care center. Other volunteer opportunities are also available upon request.
