Hi. I am currently a participant of Teach USA program under Greenheart Travel Exhange. I can say that this is really a life changing opportunity because I get to see and learn different traditions and cultures here in USA that is totally different from our culture and traditions in Philippines. It's been 2 months since we started living here in US and I love it so much and looking forward for more learning and experience with the help of Greenheart.

Best Decision Ever

2 WEEKS IN FRANCE
Hello! My name is Noah; I stayed 2 weeks in Arcachon, France, under the program labled a language camp. It was extremely fun and neatly organized. Greenheart works with the French program 'CEI', who oeganizes all that needs to be in the respective country. I was really nervous in the time leading up to my departure, but I soon discovered it was in vain. The host family I was given was matched perfectly with me. I still talk to my host brothers. Also, I made so many new friends from around Europe that I still talk to as well! If you arevon the verge of decision, as I was, or should you be burdoned by nerve, just GO! I promise you'll enjoy it with an adventurous mind.

Work Abroad
I decided to live and teach this summer in Thailand. For two months I was teaching and living in another country. Thailand opened my eyes to new food. I recommend everything! And it’s unique culture. I had the rare opportunity to teach in Bangkok , I took the chance to travel thru out the country. I was able to visit islands and so many temples. Greenheart travel were real helpful with every detail before my trip. With their help and support it made my trip go super smooth. I highly recommend traveling and going thru Greenheart Travel! They helped me meet some great teachers/friends along the way.

Highly Recommended
My experience has been a roller coaster of emotions, but making such a big life style change is bound to be. I am currently teaching English in North Central Thailand and I LOVE IT! I take cold showers, get attacked by mosquitoes, am constantly meeting other critters, and don't have much privacy since I live on school grounds. But it's really amazing to be so close to the culture, the lifestyle, the environment, and live like a local.
Not to say these changes didn't take adjustment. I cried my entire first week here... and maybe some more the following week. I reached out to my contact, Sara Thackker, with Greenheart Travel and she provided me with some tips, advice, and a relate-able story of her own from her teaching days. I have come across many people who felt the programs they came through weren't honest, ripped them off, and blatantly lied about somethings. It can definitely get confusing as you do work with a different organization that is affiliated with GT once you get to South East Asia. But I did not have such problems. Greenheart was upfront and laid down all expenses before I made any commitments. They even provide guidelines on budgeting and packing and things you would even think about (like accessibility to tampons for my lady friends. Bring that with you!).

Was it cheap? Not for me. Was it worth it? Absolutely!

Teach Abroad in Thailand
I went through Greenheart Travel to teach abroad in Thailand and I am SO happy I chose them. They are very informed about the Thai school holiday dates which can be very important when you are selecting the date you want to start the TESOL course and teaching. They helped me get all the right paperwork and visas and always gave clear instructions and deadlines for everything that needed to be done in preparation to leave for Asia. Their clear communication alleviated so much stress as I prepared myself to move abroad.
Once I got to Thailand, I was then passed onto Greenheart's affiliate XploreAsia who teach the TESOL course and place the participants at schools around the country. Even though Greenheart's job was technically completed, they continued to check in and make sure my experience was the best it could be throughout my time in Thailand. I would highly recommend Greenheart Travel to anyone planning to teach abroad in Asia.

Homestay in Spain
I did a short homestay for 1 month in Madrid, Spain. I wish I could have stayed longer! I was paired with the best possible family of 5 and enjoyed holding lessons with them daily. The process of applying was simple and not too overbearing in terms of preparation. It was an amazing experience and I will be forever connected to my host family abroad.

Great trip to Germany!
Greenheart Travel was able to send me to two-weeks at a language camp in Berlin, run by DID-Deutsch-Institut, and it was amazing! Definitely do this!

Awesome Abroad Recruiter
I loved working with Greenheart. They’re organized, thoughtful, have a beautiful and easy to navigate website, and are really knowledgeable about the programs they represent. Best Company to get TEFL
After graduating from university, I decided I wanted to travel with purpose and get my TEFL. Using Greenheart Travel I got my TEFL abroad in Prague in September of 2017. Every step of the way Kara, my contact within Greenheart supported me. Greenheart partnered with another company in Prague for the actual TEFL course, and when any issues arose Kara and Greenheart were extremely helpful. This program comes with international insurance and 24/7 contact if you have any problems. I highly recommend using Greenheart for all of your TEFL or work abroad needs. I am currently going through them to apply for teaching English in South Korea and it has been so much smoother and easier than if I tried to apply alone. Definitely check them out, you won't regret it!

3 Months in España!
I chose to do the 3 month homestay program in Spain with Greenheart Travel. The 3 months aren't even over and I feel apart of their family! They have been incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I purposely came around Christmas and New Years to experience traditions unique to Spain. I've also got to travel around Spain and Europe on weekends and off days. I have many opportunities to learn Spanish, via language schools or language exchanges. I've really gotten to slow down and enjoy the best parts of Spanish culture. I would definitely do this program again, and I am happy to say I now have a forever family in Spain! I would definitely recommend this program to anyone- go get out of your comfort zone!

Teaching in Thailand
Living in a tropical paradise and spending my weekends island hopping seemed like an incredible dream. Without the help of Greenheart Travel that's all it probably would have been. Greenheart, with their friendly and very knowledgeable staff, helped make the paperwork and process of moving to the other side of the world not only possible but easier than I could have ever imagined.

Going Abroad
I applied for the teach in a HomeStay program in Chile with GreenHeart Travel. And, throughout the entire process they have been very helpful by giving great tips about teaching abroad and about the culture of the country. They have also been very understanding throughout the ups and downs of the program; and they know how to react and fix a problem.
I would definitely recommend GreenHeart Travel to friends and family!
