Volunteer with Child's Dream

Child’s Dream is often looking for volunteers who would like to work in our Chiang Mai or Siem Reap offices (usually minimum stay: six months) or on site in a project supported by us (length of stay varies).

Please bear in mind that volunteering is unpaid work. Volunteers need to provide themselves for accommodation and transportation (we cannot reimburse any of this cost).

To volunteer means to do challenging work and to be exposed to difficult situations, but it also means an outstanding opportunity to develop your personality and to experience life-enriching moments.

Before you contact us, may we ask you to carefully read the information on this page, as well as the pdf-documents on the right. Please note that all volunteer applications must be completed in English.

There are two options for volunteering with Child’s Dream:

1. Volunteer vacancies

We have vacancies for volunteers with specific skill sets who are able to commit to working with us for specified periods of time.

To view these vacancies, please click here.

“Volunteer Application Form” here.

2. Propose your own project

In addition to our existing vacancies, we are interested in volunteers who can make a contribution to the welfare of children and communities in a manner consistent with our vision.

We have an open mind when it comes to project proposals: perhaps you are an expert in public health? Maybe you have experience in water sanitation?

If you have a particular set of skills and you can envision using them to improve the lives and futures of communities in the Mekong Sub Region, please let us know how you think you could apply your skills by filling in the “Propose your own Project Form” here.

Thank you!
