For over 30 years ARCC Programs has offered extraordinary service and adventure programs for teenagers in some of the world’s most spectacular locations. We are extremely proud of the lasting impact that generations of ARCC students have had on the people and the communities we visit and volunteer in throughout the world.
ARCC has been designing and operating programs exclusively for students for over 30 years. As a result, ARCC is looked to as the standard for delivering quality, fulfilling and enriching programs for our participants. What we have learned over the decades is that successfully operating these types of programs, year after year, is not an accident:
Superbly planned programs are a hallmark of ARCC Programs. Almost every minute of every ARCC program is planned in detail. Some ARCC programs are planned years in advance of their departures — a monumental challenge — but one that pays off immensely for our students.
I spent my first semester with ARCC in Thailand, Cambodia, China and Vietnam. The experience as a whole was surreal, it was by far the best thing I could’ve done for myself. I learned and gained so much and I truly feel more prepared to take on college and anything else life throws at me. The company itself is very personal and actually cares about your experience and what they can do for it to be the best it can. I highly recommend ARCC to anyone looking to be fulfilled in a Gap year!
ARCC really has put together a unique schedule to really provide the most wholseome experience one can possible have in each country. I travelled with ARCC as a gap student in the fall of 2017 to Costa Rica, Peru, and Ecuador, and I can honestly say that I couldn't be more pleased with the opportunities I was presented with. From white water rafting in the jungle of Costa Rica... to helping build guinea pig pens in a small community in Peru...to having a homestay in the Amazon Rainforest, ARCC really ensures that their students will recieve a wide range of experiences that will broaden their world view and help them achieve a new level of appreciation for other cultures. I defintely do not regret choosing ARCC, and I am sure I will look back on the experiences I had with gratitude. I learned so much about myself and the world during my semester, and I'm sure that ARCC can help any young adult achieve their goals if they are open to what they have to offer. In short, an amazing program!
ARCC Programs are life changing, the leaders are experienced in travel and provide excellent advice and guidance, not only on the trip but outside of the trip as well!! I had an amazing experience!!
An absolutely incredible and life changing experience! ARCC is a very safe and responsible company. I could not write anything that would express how much gratitude I have for the experience and the life long friends ARCC has given me. I hope to go on another ARCC trip this summer and hopefully return as a leader one day. Overall an incredible and inclusive experience. I hope if you are considering an ARCC program you should highly consider this incredible organization. I am a senior in high school now and last summer I traveled to vietnam and cambodia. It was the most friendly, welcoming, beautiful region of the world that I have ever travelled to. I think about it literally every day and wish i could go back! It inspired me to create my own organization www.cleanwaterwishes.org to continue helping with the Sao Sary Foundation in cambodia, and teaching in vietnam inspired me to persue a teaching career in college and teach students of all languages how to speak english. I hope you consider ARCC and imerse yourself in new cultures around the globe!! Also, one thing i was concerned about before going was that it would be like a school trip, but it was truly exploring and travelling through these countries with a group of new best friends or a new family rather than a rigid sightseeing schedule which i was very happy about. My ARCC trip was a once in a lifetime opportunity that forever changed my life. Because of arcc I was able to make friends from all around the country and the world, I wouldn’t trade my experience for anything.
