AfricAid is a non-profit organization, founded in 2000, which works to provide African girls with educational opportunities.
AfricAid really began in 1996 with the dream of an eleven-year-old girl, Ashley Shuyler, who went on safari to Kenya and Tanzania. There, she witnessed real poverty for the first time. Ashley's dream was to focus on a way to help those who might not otherwise be able to afford or even have access to educational opportunities.
