PMGY offers 2-week to 3-month volunteering opportunities in the lovely coastal town of Ambalangoda in Sri Lanka. PMGY’s Mental Health & Psychology programme in Sri Lanka is designed for those studying in this field and gives an opportunity to gain insight and awareness within a range of settings.Our psychology programme has been set up to provide participants with the opportunity to gain a broad overview, understanding and insight into mental health care and needs within a different culture. As part of this, such activities and programmes include a range of activities and placement settings for participants to undertake.
Programme Fees to volunteer in Sri Lanka start as low as £200 for a one-week placement. Included within this fee is:
1st & 3rd Saturday of every month
- Be at least 18 on your programme start date
- Provide us with a clean criminal background check
- Be studying Psychology/Mental Health
- The ability to speak fluent English
