PMGY offers 2-week to 6-month volunteering opportunities in the northern town of Arusha, near the foot of Mount Meru. PMGY’s Medical volunteers programme in Tanzania offers a fantastic opportunity to gain first-hand experience and insight into the Tanzanian health care system. Learn from local staff and get involved in supporting them. PMGY collaborate with a government hospital and community clinic within the Arusha and Meru district.
Programme Fees to volunteer in Tanzania start as low as £360 for a two-week placement. Included within this fee is:
1st & 3rd Sunday of every month
- Be at least 18 on your programme start date
- Provide us with a clean criminal background check
- The ability to speak fluent English
