PMGY offers 2-week to 6-month volunteering opportunities in the lovely coastal town of Ambalangoda in Sri Lanka. PMGY’s Childcare volunteers programme in Sri Lanka brightens up the lives of young children making a vital and important contribution to their daily lives. PMGY Volunteers attend the centres in the afternoons, as the children attend school in the morning. The first 1.5 hours are spent teaching the children English and undertaking educational activities. The second 1.5 hours is allocated for outdoor games and sports.
Programme Fees to volunteer in Sri Lanka start as low as £260 for a two-week placement. Included within this fee is:
1st & 3rd Saturday of every month
- Be at least 17 on your programme start date
- Provide us with a clean criminal background check
- The ability to speak fluent English
