Brave Ho Chi Minh City’s jam-packed streets with other travellers your own age – you can be sure they’ll keep pace with you – or check out the more laid back waterways of Vietnam’s Mekong Delta. With your accommodation, transportation, and general trip logistics arranged, you can concentrate on choosing the activities that interest you most.
Itinerary
Day 1 - Bangkok
Arrive at any time.
Day 2 - Bangkok/Siem Reap
Travel to Siem Reap. Enjoy a delicious Khmer meal at a Planeterra project or with a local family in a village outside of Siem Reap (depends on the departure).
Day 3 - Siem Reap
Guided tour of Angkor Wat temple complex. Opt to visit Tonle Sap floating village and Angkor National Museum.
Day 4 - Siem Reap/Phnom Penh
Transfer to Cambodia's capital. Orientation walk around Phnom Penh.
Day 5 - Phnom Penh
Opt to learn about Cambodia's sombre history with a visit to the Tuol Sleng Prison and the Killing Fields.
Day 6 - Phnom Penh/Sihanoukville
Swim and relax on the beach after transferring to Sihanoukville.
Day 7 - Sihanoukville
Swim and relax by the beach, or take an optional snorkelling boat trip.
Day 8 - Sihanoukville/Cần Thơ
Cross the border to Vietnam. Overnight at a local village homestay. Opt to cruise the Mekong on a boat trip.
Day 9 - Cần Thơ/Ho Chi Minh City
Travel through the scenic Mekong Delta region and onto Ho Chi Minh City. Enjoy a street food crawl with the group and CEO, opt to take a guided tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels, visit the Ben Thahn market or check out the War Remnants Museum.
Day 10 - Ho Chi Minh City
Depart at any time.
