Breathe in the mountain air of La Paz and the tango palaces of Buenos Aires on a 2-week adventure.

Connecting the Atlantic to the Andes, you'll journey across the surreal landscapes of the Atacama Desert and the Uyuni Salt Flats, feel like a sophisticate as you sip wine in Buenos Aires and pull back the curtain on the centre of the continent. Best of all, you'll do it in the company of other fun, young travellers. Don't choose between inspiring wilderness and urban sophistication - do it all.

Itinerary

Day 1 Buenos Aires
Arrive at any time.

Day 2-3 Salta
Skip a long overnight bus ride with an included flight. Opt to check out the scenic Quebrada de las Conchas to Cafayate, the High Mountain Arqueological Museum, and enjoy local cuisine.

Day 4-5 San Pedro de Atacama
Opt to visit nearby ruins, go mountain biking, or visit the Valley of the Moon.

Day 6-8 Salt Flats/Uyuni
Ascend by bus into the mountains and cross into Bolivia. 3-day 4x4 excursion to the Uyuni Salt Flats and surrounding desert altiplano with spectacular scenery. Stay in simple hotels upgraded with solar panels to provide electricity and hot water.

Day 9-10 Potosí
Enjoy free time to explore the city, and take an optional excursion to a working silver mine.

Day 11-13 Sucre
Opt to visit nearby dinosaur tracks, explore the city or go hiking or mountain biking. Overnight bus to La Paz.

Day 14 La Paz
Optional city tour and free time to explore the markets and winding streets of this high altitude city.

Day 15 La Paz
Depart at any time.
