Quito welcomes you! Spend 15 days in the beautiful capital city of Ecuador and its surrounding areas, perfecting your Spanish and experiencing South American culture. Spend your mornings in Professionally-taught, private Spanish classes and your evenings learning the art of Salsa Dancing and South American cooking.
During this Language and Culture Immersion Tour, you’ll also be able to experience an educational Coffee Tour of Quito as you immerse yourself in the local culture. You’ll find Quito to be amazing, but the tour has only just begun! Explore the splendor of the Pichincha Volcano and the Mitad Del Mundo, including a visit to the Intiñan Museum and the Pululahua Crater.
AND THEN: Witness the wonder of Nature just as Darwin saw it for the first time on the glorious Galapagos Islands. You have to see it to believe it!

Day 1: Arrival Day

Collection from Mariscal Sucre International Airport, Quito. Transport to your accommodation.

Day 2: Orientation & Spanish Classes

Breakfast at your hotel. Walk to the Spanish School (3 blocks). Group Orientation/Welcome Meeting. Private one-on-one (or small group) Spanish Lessons (4 hours). Self-study/practice time in the afternoon.

Day 3: Spanish Classes + Salsa Lessons

Day 7: Mitad Del Mundo

Breakfast at your hotel. Guided day tour to Mitad del Mundo - including Intiñan Museum + Pululahua Crater tour.

Day 8: Otavalos Indigenous Province & Cuicocha Lake

Breakfast at your hotel. Today we tour to Imbabura Province – Home of the most prominent indigenous culture of Ecuador – the Otavalos people – a culture that speaks the famous Quechua language with roots that can be traced back directly to the lost Incan Empire! Time for some lunch then on to the main handicrafts market. Next we head to Cuicocha Lake.

Day 9: Spanish Classes

Evening: Coffee Tour of Quito (from 5pm).
Day 12: Galapagos Island Tour - Day 1

Breakfast at your hotel. Transport to airport for flight to Baltra Islands, Galapagos. Also known as South Seymour. Next we take a ferry to Santa Cruz Island. Then head to the accommodation at Hotel Palmeras.

Lunch. In the afternoon we will go towards a private ranch located in the high area of the Island. We will walk through paths marked among the vegetation of the place. Here we find a large number of freshwater turtles in their natural state. We will also go through a Lava Tunnel of approx. 800 meters long. In addition, we visit the Twin Crateres. (This excursion is not guided. Exclusively for sightseeing and photography).

Day 13: Galapagos Island Tour - Day 2

After breakfast we visit the Charles Darwin Scientific Station that constitutes a research center for the conservation of the marine and terrestrial ecosystems of Galapagos, as well as developing educational projects for the population directed to the conservation of the Islands.

Lunch. In the afternoon, we walk to the magnificent and impressive beach Tortuga Bay which is characterized by its banking sand and by the presence of a longitudinal dune that divides it into two beaches that contrast completely. One is peaceful and closed, ideal for snorkeling and kayaking; the other has strong and open waves, ideal for surfing. It is the nesting site for the black sea turtle.

Day 14: Galapagos Island Tour - Day 3

Breakfast 6:45am passengers are picked up from the hotel. Departure at 7am from Puerto Ayora to Puerto Villamil. This will take about 2.5hrs. From the wharf, transport will be taken to the Arnaldo Tupiza Breeding Center where turtles from Isabela Island will be observed. Followed by a visit to the Flamingos Pond.

Lunch. In the afternoon we visit the spectacular Concha Perla Lagoon, characterized by the large number of marine species that we can see while snorkeling, or if the group prefers to enjoy a refreshing afternoon at the beach. Return to Santa Cruz Island at approximately 3pm.

Dinner.
Day 15: Return To Quito + Departure Day

Breakfast at the hotel. Then return to Baltra Island. Return flight to Quito. Arrival in the afternoon. Return transfers to Mariscal Sucre International Airport, Quito.
