On your internship, you’ll be placed in our partner hospital where you’ll come to understand the resourceful nature of staff who face a distinct lack of resources every day. You’ll have the chance to work across departments, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of a diverse range of cases which are often presented in critical stages. These often include conditions like malaria, tuberculosis, influenza, diarrhea, and HIV.
There’s also opportunity to live with a host family in a Cambodian village, where you’ll fully immerse yourself in the traditional way of life.
