As such, you'll be placed in a large hospital with the opportunity to work in a range of departments like general medicine, general surgery, O&G, ICU, and oncology. Participants will work alongside some of Sri Lanka's most well-regarded healthcare professionals, so asking questions and showing enthusiasm for specialisms is paramount.
There is also the chance for you to live in rural Sri Lanka for a week, learning Ayurvedic medicine from a local master. In the afternoons you'll enjoy exploring the island's stunning beauty, taking ox and cart rides through the jungle.
