Applicants should be looking to progress in the outdoor education industry. The role involves the management of a team of Tribe Leaders and a Field Cook, as well as the day-to-day responsibilities of running a residential camp of up to 60 school children, ensuring that our high level of pastoral care is maintained and safeguarding their Health and Safety throughout their trip with us

This is a demanding but hugely rewarding role.

You do not necessarily need to come from an outdoor education background, or indeed a bushcraft background (we employ many ex-teachers but there is no typical ‘sort of person’), as you will complete extensive in-house training, and mentoring before you work on a course. However, you do need to want to be part of a team whose aim is not simply to give students a taste of adventure, but to inspire a lifetime of it.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.  Safer recruitment practice and pre-employment background checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed.
