Get to know the vast and diverse country from inside. Krasnodar region is located at the South-West part of Russia. It is the most popular tourist destination all year round and the only region where you can find all climate zones.
In summer travelers come to the Black and Azov Seas for leisure and recreational holidays, while in winter extreme sport lovers go skiing and snowboarding in the Caucasus mountains. 10 days tour is a great chance to get to know customs and traditions of Southern Russia and enjoy incredible views of sea and mountains.
Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival to Sochi and transfer to a hotel. Evening free to enjoy the city in lights.
Day 2
Sochi sightseeing tour. Walk along the seaside, visit Sochi sea port, Riviera park, Church of St. Vladimir. Excursion to the house-museum Stalin's Dacha.
Day 3
Tour to the Olympic venues. Visit of Olympic Park, look at the heart of Winter Olympic Games 2014 and Sochi Street circuit, where Formula 1 Grand Prix of Russia takes place. Trip to Krasnaya Polyana mountain settlement, cableway to 2200m above the sea level. Admire incredible views of the Caucasus chain.
Day 4
Hotel check-out and visit to the Tea Houses in Dagomys. Taste the northernmost tea in the world and enjoy Russian tea ceremony with homemade buscuits and jams (varenije) while watching Russian folk dance performance. Departure to Gelendzhik. Hotel check-in in Gelendzhik.
Day 5
Visit of architectural park “Old Park” and short hiking to dolmens - ancient mysterious stone structures.
Day 6
Sightseeing tour of hero city Novorossiysk - one of the largest seaport city on the Black sea coast. Visit to the ship-museum of World War II " M. Kutuzov". Trip to Abrau-Durso, walk along lake Abrau. Visit to the Russian Champagne House Abrau-Durso with sparkling wine degustation.
Day 7
Hotel check out. Departure to Taman. Visit to ethno-tourist village Ataman. Experience the lifestyle of Chernomorsky Cossacks, feel the culture of Kuban folks, watch fancy trick-riding, Cossack's wedding ceremony, Kuban folk dance performance and taste Kuban cuisine from the fresh local food ingredients. After lunch taste local wines at Fanagoria winery. Departure to Krasnodar. Hotel check-in in Krasnodar.
Day 8
Experience local farmer's life and visit eco-village Sinegorie. Spend one day at the countryside, try mowing grass with a scythe, milking the goats and taste homemade goat cheese. Visit fruit gardens and try fresh, ripe, juicy apples, peaches and pears.
Day 9
Sightseeing tour of Krasnodar. Visit the largest city in Southern Russia and get to know its exciting history. Free afternoon to shop and get some souvenirs as a memory of your trip.
Day 10
Hotel check-out. Transfer to the airport.
