Midwifery Volunteering Placements Overseas

Company : Projects Abroad
Duration: 2 weeks to 1 Year+
Approx Costs: 1250 to 3000+ £ Pound (UK)

Volunteers on a Projects Abroad Midwifery placement will gain a great deal of valuable work experience alongside skilled midwives in developing countries.

Whether you're a university hopeful, studying for a degree in midwifery, or a qualified midwife, we can find an overseas placement to suit your experience and interests.

As a volunteer, you will have an important role to play, no matter your previous experience. You will help to care for people in countries where hospitals and clinics may be understaffed or poorly resourced. You will be expected to become part of a team - shadowing your supervisor, assisting the local staff, and providing care to patients.

We also welcome professionally qualified midwives for volunteering placements. These professional volunteering placements allow you to put your skills and expertise to the best use through assisting with the treatment of patients as well as exchanging knowledge and ideas with the local staff.

Projects Abroad Midwifery Volunteering Placements Overseas Reviews

Recommended

I went to volunteer at a hospital in Togo and would recommend it. The price is reasonable for the experience you get (travel insurance, food, accommodations, airport transfers, 24/7 support).
