Volunteers on this project will be involved in a range of activities, including mapping and excavations, classifications and community work.

The archaeology project is based just outside the town of Lucre, approximately 40 minutes from Cuzco, where volunteers will live. The main long-term aim of the project is the investigation and mapping of unregistered structures and forms in the Pikillaqta National Park.

Volunteers will also have the opportunity to work in a local museum in Cuzco and attend presentations about various archaeological topics.

We also have a Classical & Medieval Archaeology project in Romania!
