If you have a passion for animals then this is a great placement to get involved in practical work at an animal sanctuary in Argentina.
The animal sanctuary has been working for 15 years to rehabilitate a variety of animals that have been taken to the centre for reasons such as injury or loss of habitat. Some animals are not able to return to the wild due to the severity of their injuries; the centre helps with the treatment of these animals and provides them with an environment which is as close to their natural habitat as possible.
The sanctuary is home to a wide range of animals, including pumas, howler monkeys, llamas, guanacos, and many others. Volunteers are involved in a variety of tasks, including feeding and caring for the animals, planting seeds as part of a reforestation project, working in the greenhouse, general maintenance of trails and facilities, and building animal enclosures.

I did the Animal Care Project in Argentina in May and I had an amazing time. I learned a lot about the country and the culture. We had a great group of volunteers and I had such an amazing time. To volunteer was a wonderful experience which I really recommend to everyone. It gives a different view of the own life and how beautiful it is to help! Projects Abroad is the best organisation and I would book again with them. Everything was well organised. I really think about to do another volunteer project.
