Our Paddlesports Instructor role is for anyone who enjoys being active in the outdoors, has a passion for paddlesport and is able to provide effective instruction, leadership, support and encouragement to a group of guests. This is the perfect job if you want to work with children in the future, start a career in the outdoors or just have a great experience whilst making new friends and working as a team.
The Paddlesports Instructor job offers you an excellent first step in the industry if you are a British Canoeing qualified Paddle Sports Instructor, or if you have an interest in working with children and gaining the British Canoeing Paddle Sports Instructor award, PGL will put you through the qualification.
As a PGL Paddlesports Instructor, you will split your time between leading paddling sessions and taster activity sessions in our core land based activities.
What we are looking for
You'll need to already hold your ‘British Canoeing Paddle Sports Instructor’ award to be considered for this role (or be available to attend one of our British Canoeing training courses early in the year). We offer a comprehensive British Canoeing development programme to help you further your paddling career. We're looking for people who have previous experience of working or volunteering with young people, with boundless energy and a real love of all things outdoors. Our Paddlesports Instructors need to be committed to excellent customer service and be passionate about sharing their love of paddling with our guests.
All applicants will need to be available until October 2022.
