PGL Travel Ltd Reviews

5 seasons

I started work at pgl in 2013 and it was a breath of fresh air, I never went to pgl as a child and to finally go was amazing.
It has changed a lot in the seasons I've been there, 2015 at Barton was my favourite but I noticed in 2017 it was different. It seemed more profit than positive orientated..I would suggest everyone to work for them as their first job or a summer job inbetween university but take everything with a pinch of salt, you'll never do anything right and they will work you until you break.

I went to PGL with NCS for a week

It was great, the staff were amazing I loved all of them. Especially 2 women called Joyce and Vee. The equipment give -tents and sleeping bags (that was called glamping) were overall in great condition, however my sleeping bag was dirty (someone had gone to the toilet in it...) but this was handled very well and I got a new one quickly due to the amazing staff! The food was okay which is why I’m not giving PGL a 5 star rating. I’m a vegetarian and the food they offered was limited and I’m also very picky, I lived off the tuck shop. The tuck shops was THE BEST wish it was open more often though. They had the most amazing activity’s, my favourite was the raft building I loved it!!! I highly recommend PGL for anyone who is looking an adventure, and a fun time away! Would definitely go back, I hope to become an NCS Leader just to do this again
