Thailand Coastal and Turtle Conservation Expedition

Join an international team of volunteers and assist in the conservation of Thailand's natural environment on this all-encompassing expedition. 

Based in the Phang Nga region you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the conservation of Thailand's unique species and habitats while living and working with other international volunteers in one of the most beautiful regions in the world. Assist with turtle conservation, plastic pollution prevention, bird and butterfly surveys, island biodiversity monitoring, and environmental awareness education, in an effort to work toward United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, UN SDGs, #14 and #15, Life Below Water and Life on Land.

 

Highlights: 

• Work toward conserving the Endangered Green Sea turtle, monitor Thai bird life, clear plastic off the beaches, and improve environmental awareness throughout the community
• Visit the ever-popular beaches of Phuket in your free time.
• Experience the truly awe-inspiring beaches, islands and underwater worlds of Southern Thailand.
• Stand the chance of contributing to several seasonal conservation efforts, including tropical island biodiversity surveys and coral surveys while snorkeling.
• Live and work with GVI staff and other participants from around the world.
• Contribute to UN Sustainable Development Goal #14 and #15, Life Below Water and Land and Life.
