Costs / Benefits
The program fee is used to support community development projects as well as:
- All Meals: Delicious local cuisine
- Accommodations: Comfortable and safe hotels
- Ground Transportation: Airport and community project transportation
- Team Leadership: Local Global Volunteers staff or volunteer team leaders
- Project Materials: Resources to sustain community projects
- Program Coordination: The costs for project management, 24-hour emergency phone, community evaluation visits, team orientation materials, volunteer preparation, emergency evacuation insurance, and international staff training.
