We have used our twenty years experience to put together the best that India, Nepal and Goa have to offer. An exotic combination of volunteering programs in two countries combines with an epic 2,000 mile adventure. What to Expect

Week 1: Kathmandu and Royal Chitwan

Your adventure begins in the lost mountain Kingdom of Nepal.  Arrive in Kathmandu where you meet our leader and join your group for the next 8 weeks. Explore this mountain capital, visit the Monkey temple and more before heading over the mountains and down into Royal Chitwan and the home of the Bengal Tiger.  

 

Week 2: Community Volunteering 

Undertake vital earthquake rehabilitation community work. Live with a local family learn Nepalese cooking while helping to provide a sustainable future, rest weekends include white water rafting and Elephant  sanctuary visits. 

 

Week 3 & 4: Trek to Everest Base camp 

Fly to Lukla and start our trek to Everest Base Camp. Guided by government Sherpas, we pass through remote mountain villages before reaching the world famous Everest Base Camp( Sagarmāthā in Nepalese).

 

Week 5 Delhi & The Golden Triangle

We swap the mountains of Nepal for the smells, sounds and colours of India. The hustles and bustle of Delhi, exploring by tuk tuk, then off for a week’s tour of the Golden Triangle, Red Fort and the incredible Taj Mahal, one of the modern Wonders of the World! 

 

Week 6: Dalai Lama & Tibetan Refugee volunteering

Next you head up to the old colonial Hill Station of Dharamsala, the home of the Dalai Lama. Teach monks English at the Tibetan Open School, and look after the children at the Day Care centre so their parents can work - an amazing and fulfilling way to give back to these welcoming people. 

 

Week 7 & 8: Rajastan, Mumbai & Goa

The final leg of your adventure takes you first through the state of Rajastan, land of the Kings with majestic forts and lavish palaces, and jungles and sand dunes. Continuing South you’ll spend a few days exploring India’s second city Mumbai before reaching out final destination – Goa! Clear seas, pristine beaches, exquisite cuisine and friendly people welcome us as we near the end of our epic adventure.
