I spent 5 weeks at AMAUTA this march/april and i can genuinely say i have a whole new outlook on the world. I went to Cusco with 7 other of my classmates from college to volunteer. My project was at a mental hospital with over 40 patients from the ages of 15 to 70 with various diagnosis or addictions. AMAUTA made this experience very easy for me feel safe and at home while residing in Cusco and GREATLY helped mu spanish skills as i was surrounded by so many helpful AMAUTA employees who spoke the language and were always so willing to help out. I would recommend AMAUTA to anyone, this was such a positive and enjoyable experience!!
