In our effort to help improve the education in Ghana , we are involved in a voluntary teaching project with governmental and non-governmental schools in Ghana whereby trained/partly trained teachers and volunteers with the interest are invited from abroad to assist in teaching English Language, Mathematics, Science, Geography, History, IT Computing, Tourism, Ticketing and Reservations, Catering, Fashion designs etc
Sample Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Ghana Kotoka International Airport in Accra, transfer to hotel and meeting to coordinate the day-to-day scheduling for the week.
Day 2 – 6: According to volunteers ability but school hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm
Day 7: Day Off: Touring in Accra city centre and lunch ..
Day 8: Departure from Accra Ghana to respective countries
Tasks
Volunteers can teach English, Mathematics and Science in Primary and Junior high Schools and engage themselves in the following activities:
- Teach conversational English, Math, or Science to students whose age range between 2 -10 in primary schools and 11-16 in high schools
- Read literature and improve the low comprehension level and poor pronunciation of students
- Provide theoretical and practical assistance and aide the teachers
- Interact with the students.
