Sabela Trust is a charitable humanitarian organization based Zimbabwe and other countries around Africa. Although Zimbabwe is a beautiful sub-Saharan country in Southern Africa certain areas are badly affected by the epidemics of poverty and HIV.
The number of orphans and the less privileged families is growing in those areas. Efforts are being made by various local and international organizations to protect those affected - mostly children - by offering much -needed education, food, medication as well as skills-development training. Thousands of orphans who suffer from extreme poverty, HIV/AIDS and hopelessness leave their villages and travel to the capital city and other cities, where they most often end up worse off and on the streets.
Our Child Support Centre in Zimbabwe is a safe haven for the less privileged from our local communities.The Child Support Centre focuses primarily on offering formal and informal school activities as well as a safe place to stay.
