TEFL Heaven in Thailand

A package experience in that you train in the country and are placed in a school. It's a good option for your first time TEFLing, otherwise it's probably best to find placements on your own, you can be more specific in what you'd like and where you'd like to go.
I made some great friends on this course and we continued to see and provide support for each other during our placements, despite being placed far apart.
When I went, all of the placements were in north-east Thailand, which is not the best location, though it is authentic. I think the organization places in more locations now and I'd recommend it for ease, meeting people and for help navigating culture and local protocol.

Amazing!

It's hard to put into a few words how incredible my experience was with TEFL Heaven. I always felt supported and guided during a huge life change. The training itself was amazing, in a paradise location that made me feel I was on holiday the whole time. I got real teaching practice and made some incredible lifelong friends. The company really care about you and your experience. I have since been loving my life as an English teacher in Thailand which the job was all set up for me, including the transport. If you're thinking of going with TEFL heaven, do it!!

Amazing experience amazing people

Doing a TEFL course with TEFL Heaven was the best 6 months of my life. I did the October 2014 programme in Krabi. I met the most amazing people who became a network of support after the course. You get a guaranteed school placement, which is the reason we went for this company mainly. And it was amazing! The places we saw and things we did you cannot put a price on. We were in quite a remote place and i wouldn't have changed it for the world. We got such a unique experince and were really immersed in Thai culture. 100% recommend. There were of course ups and downs but tefl heaven really heko you adjust to the changes you deal eith. You get thai language lessons as well as culture lessons. It really is the full package.
