A popular option for many is an overland adventure from Adelaide to Perth called the Nullarbor wildlife tour - this is an amazing experience and Emily Brown shares her experiences and why you might want to book this trip.

Trip Highlights

I booked a 10 day tour but there are other options available. There are so many amazing things you will do on this tour, you will get to discover the many hidden treasures of Western Australia; you’ll get back to basics with outdoor camping and take in a whole host of sights from the Valley of the Giants to Cape Le Grand National Park!

Days 1 – 3

In your first few days you’ll set off into the rustic, rugged gorges, abandoned homesteads and ghost gums of the southern Flinders Ranges National Park.

Go on a camel trek, experience the stunning Lake Gairdner and feast your eyes on a sale lake in Gawler Ranges National Park.

Then it’s on to the Eyre Peninsula and Coodlie Park where you’ll take in Wave Rock and Venus Bay before testing out your skills with a 2 hour surf lesson at Scaeles Bay and swimming.

Day 4 – 10

On the next part of the trip we journeyed on to one of the world’s great road trips and adventurous encounters; you head to the Nullarbor Plain and the Great Australian Bight, stopping to explore and take in the of town of Eucla and the Newman Rocks before camping in the great outdoors - amazing!

Next stop was the quaint town of Esperance and the incredible Cape Le Grand National Park, where you’ll find pure blue seas and powder white beaches ready to be discovered as you wander through this natural paradise!

Time for yet more natural wonders in Shannon National Park; where we took a tree top walk through the Valley of the Giants before travelling on through Margaret River and Yallingup and ending the trip in Perth - one of my favourite cities in Australia.

This really was an amazing experience and I can't recommend it highly enough!
