Structured Internship Placements in Central America
Some companies offer working holiday packages for Central America which include group flights, orientation, visa, job hunting assistance, processing of social insurance number, mail holding service, one night hostel stay, selected meals, in-country support and assistance, 24 hour support number and a contact for emergencies.
There are over 30 unique languages spoken in Central America, the main being Spanish which is spoken in the majority of countries whilst English is suprisingly the official language of Belize. Most internships are in English but it is recommend you know at least basic Spanish. Cost of Living
How much you will pay in terms of housing, food and going out varies drastically depending on where you are based. This region has some of the best value in the whole world but then some places like Costa Rica, Mexico and Panama have quite high living costs.
