The College of St Mary Magdalene is located in the centre of Cambridge beside the River Cam. The College has its origins in the year 1428 and has an eclectic mix of buildings, the architectural history of which is a fascinating story in itself.

 

Undergraduate Study Courses

Magdalene admits students to study all undergraduate courses offered at the University of Cambridge. Undergraduate courses at Cambridge cover a wide range of subject areas, there are 30 undergraduate courses covering over 65 subject areas.

 

Postgraduate Study

Cambridge is one of the finest research universities in the world, and home to some of the world's leading academics.

The graduate community at Cambridge is some 7,500 students strong. Its members are drawn from across the globe and work in a huge range of fields and disciplines, making it one of the most exciting and stimulating places to undertake graduate study. 

 

International Undergraduates

About 30% of our undergraduates come from outside the UK and we welcome applications from the brightest students from across the globe. This section contains information especially relevant to international undergraduate applicants.

 

International Graduates

Slightly more than half of Magdalene's graduate students come here from outside the UK. We also have a number of graduate scholarships specifically for applicants from particular countires in Europe, Africa, Asia and North America.

 

Visiting Students

Why not spend a year studying at Magdalene as a visiting student? Each year we welcome two international students on a 'Junior Year Abroad' from their home university. We also usually have three visiting students from the Erasmus Scheme.
