Located in Ghana, we seek to practically and effectively initiate, implement and enhance programmes and activities that would in the long run go to benefit the communities that we choose to work with.

We provide diverse range of opportunities to people around the world who want to become part of our volunteer community in Africa. Our well motivated and dedicated staff will ensure that your experience will be far more worthwhile than those of the average tourist .

Our activities are governed by the following principles: Individual participation, practical involvement and sustainability of programmes.

DREAM AFRICA Care Foundation was born out of a strong passion and a desire to see change in the lives of Ghanaians and the needy as a whole. We seek to implement and make relevant difference in the lives of people in the communities we work in especially the youth, marginalized women and the needy in society...

VOLUNTEERING AT AN ORPHANAGE IN GHANA
Our orphanage program is focused on addressing the individual love, care and attention for orphans, needy and street children. However, the staffs are over-stretched and cannot give out their best. Duties for our volunteers in orphanages are spending time with the orphans and building good relationships with them. If you choose to do volunteer work in orphanages, you need to be adaptable, flexible and prepared to face and hear heartbreaking stories of the children's backgrounds. The children eagerly await the arrival of volunteers, who can give the kids more attention and love volunteer.

VOLUNTARY SUMMER WORKCAMPS VOLUNTEER
Most of the communities in Ghana do not have basic physical infrastructures like toilets, school building, playgrounds, libraries and even portable drinking water. Come and lend a helping hand to these unfortunate communities through our summer project and work camps. Volunteers live and learn together in simple conditions. They work voluntarily, mainly by manual labor, for the benefit of the community. By living with people of different backgrounds and working together to help others, each work camp helps pave the way to a more peaceful world.

TEACHING IN GHANA VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
Ghana is a country of dramatic change and optimism, which is reflected in the schools in which we work. Though they are often over-crowded, understaffed and under-funded, a real enthusiasm and a hope for the future seem to permeate through the students. It is going to be hard to maintain this as more and more skilled teachers continue to leave for EUPROP and AMERICA in search of lucrative teaching contract, because of this we welcome any assistance from volunteers to teach basic causes like English, French, Computer, Mathematics or Science frompre-schools, primary, junior high or senior high schools.

You don’t need qualification to be part of our teaching project just basic knowledge of the subjects, you can volunteer for a minimum of two weeks and a maximum of 12months.Your contribution will go a long way to make a difference in a Childs life

MEDICAL STUDENT/HEALTHCARE
Medical and nursing student volunteers observe health care delivery work of local medical doctors and nurses and other health care professionals at hospitals. They also assist in the health care delivery work by being allowed to do minor work under the supervision of the professionals. This is your opportunity to gain experience on conditions that you wouldn't normally see in Europe and America, such as malaria and typhoid, on an almost daily basis. As a medical student or a nurse willing to help in treating cases which could have been solved if there are health personnel in our communities, volunteers choose to spend time in a variety
of different departments within the hospital, including accident and emergency, pediatrics, maternity, pharmacy, physiotherapy and surgery Volunteers/interns do not offer drug injections or perform surgery

COMPUTER/IT ICT TRAINING VOLUNTARY WORK
As a volunteer on this project, you will be providing free computer training to under-privileged in our ICT computer training center in the rural village. The training will be in any of the following areas: Introduction to computers, windows, Internet Orientation, Ms. Word, Ms. Excel (spread sheet), Ms. Access, Ms. Power Point and more. Volunteers taking part in our IT project spend some of their time making sure that the local teachers know how to use computers. If not they share their own knowledge with them and in this way the project can sustain itself when there are no volunteers around.
