We work in some of the most challenging areas of the world to relieve immediate suffering and create lasting change.

Get Involved

There are many ways you can support Brooke and help improve the lives of working horses, donkeys and mules and the people who depend on them.

Volunteer Fundraising Groups

We are fortunate to have 52 amazing volunteer fundraising Brooke supporter groups across the UK, as well as groups developing in the USA, Europe, New Zealand and Australia. Would you like to join our fundraising family?

We're looking for enthusiastic Brooke supporters, equestrian and animal lovers to join our local community-based fundraising teams. Our fundraising groups and teams are made up of volunteers who go out - come rain or shine - to raise awareness and funds for us.

Whether you can spare a few hours a week, one day a week or one day a month, your local Brooke community team will be grateful for your help and support at their events, collections and many other fundraising activities. You could, for example, work with local businesses, become a Brooke speaker, or source raffle, tombola and auction prizes.

Meet Like-minded People

Being part of a local volunteer fundraising group is a great way to meet like-minded people, have fun and do your bit to help the working animals who need it most. Together we can make a difference to hard working equines plus you will receive all the support you need from Brooke.

How Our Fundraising Groups Help

Our Champion Group Leaders and their teams do a fantastic job organising all types of events, from high profile gala dinners, strawberry teas, murder mystery evenings, open gardens and carol services to coffee mornings and afternoon teas, from plant sales to tack and tog sales, street collections and stands at local fairs and at some of the most prestigious equestrian events across the UK.

It’s really rewarding to see our local teams enjoying days out and seeing the difference raising awareness and the money we raise make a real difference to Brooke's work.

Our volunteer roles allow us to share our passion in spreading awareness and raising funds to help the million of equines working in unbearable conditions, particularly in the poorest of communities overseas.
