Expect a warm climate all year round, rainy season generally starts in November for a few months but even then there is a humid atmosphere. Take lots of sunscreen and light clothing if you are going trekking or travelling into the rainforest

 

How to Get to Venezuela & Tourist Visa

Most international flights arrive into the capital city of Caracas, on arrival you will be given a 90 day tourist visa, UK/USA passport holders should be able to gain entry without any problems if you have proof of funds and a return plane ticket. If you are not from the UK or USA you will need to check your eligibility.

 

Health & Safety 

Before booking a trip to Venezuela check latest safety recommendations to ensure you are prepared and it is okay to visit. There has been quite a lot of government instability and some travel has been restricted. We recommend taking money in advance and getting travellers checks, the local atm's are notoriously expensive to use.
