We are now offering a volunteer program offers the unique and exciting opportunity to get behind the scene and involved with the conservation efforts of the Game Reserve with highly qualified guides running and hosting the program.

Wildlife conservation volunteers will take part in surveys/studies covering a variety of wild animals including lion, rhinos, elephants, other predators, birds and insects, tracking indigenous small and large animals, elephant impact monitoring and habitat conservation.

The stunning meandering Kariega estuary with its pristine beaches nearby is also a draw card for marine exploration, studies and surveys.

Volunteer conservation works from monday to friday daily but may vary as required by reserve operations or anti-poaching activites

Days will generaly be divided into two parts:

Morning: Focus will be on eradicating alien vegetation, assisting in game capture when required, fence patrol, ect.

Afternoons: Volunteers wil conduct various suveys/studies, tracking animals or join ongoing community projects.
