If you’re a wanderer at heart, and keen to explore new cultures, we’ve compiled a collection of breathtaking locations in Asia that will be sure to steal your heart.

1. Baa Atoll, The Maldives

The Maldives are the ideal honeymoon destination for many newly weds, and are a picturesque location with bright blue water, sandy beaches and balmy weather all year round.

Situated in Baa Atoll, the Finolhu resort has everything you could need from a tropical and idyllic holiday destination.

In the Maldives, luxury villas makeup the star quality of your holiday, with Finolhu’s luxury water villas stealing the show. Choose from a Beach Pool Villa, Lagoon Villa, Private Pool Villa, or Ocean Pool Villa to name just a few options.

2. Mount Fuji, Japan

A bucket list destination for many, Mount Fuji is a spectacular vision on the Japanese horizon. Located on the island of Honshu, the volcano is conular in shape and last erupted in the 1700s.

Many travellers enjoy climbing to the top, with four main routes to the summit. Or, if you’re eager to try a new sport, the slopes make an excellent practice point for paragliders – depending on the direction of the wind, of course!

While visiting, you could also explore nearby cities, and sample authentic Japanese food.

3. The Dead Sea, Israel

Few natural phenomenons are quite as mind blowing as the Dead Sea, which has a salt concentration of around 31%, and is situated at the lowest land level on Earth, at around 430 metres below sea level.

The salt concentration makes the sea incredibly dense, meaning that swimmers can readily float on the surface, and also makes the water too toxic to house wildlife.

There have been many studies conducted on the healing properties of the Dead Sea, with Medical News Today reporting that mud from the sea can help to heal conditions like eczema.

4. Koh Samui, Thailand

As a huge tourist destination for backpackers, Thailand is a fantastic cultural experience fit for any backpacking adventure.

The Thai islands are specatacular and there are so many you could visit. We recommend Koh Samui which is one of the best all-rounder, perfect for budget travellers and people seeking a luxury break.

Koh Samui has beautiful beaches, amazing hotels, culture and the nightlife is second to none. You can attend beach parties, take part in a bus tour, visit an elephant sanctuary, or taste the local food in the street markets.

5. Seoul, South Korea

There are so many amazing cities to visit in Asia and Seoul is one of the best.

Seoul will bea culture shock, but it is such a facsinating city to explore, the home of k-pop, and a hub of entertainment and media, as well as the filming location for select scenes in the record-breaking Netflix show Squid Game.

For travellers who are new to Seoul, there are city tours that take you around notable attractions for a whistlestop circuit of day to day life in Seoul.

Additionally, you could sample some of the finest South Korean food including kimbap and gimbap (sushi), Yangnyeom Tongdak (fried chicken), and Hotteok (sweet pancakes).

6. Ha Long Bay

Hạ Long Bay is one of the most visited places in Asia, and for good reason. Located in northeast Vietnam, it is a stunning location with emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands.

You can book cruises to explore Ha Long Bay, some companies even offer sea kayak expeditions, scuba diving, rock climbing and hiking. Must see places you'll visit include the beautiful Cát Bà National Park - absolutely breathtaking.
