France is very easy and also relatively inexpensive to get to because of the amount of transport links available. There are international airports in Paris and other areas of the country where you can fly to from worldwide destinations. France has mild temperature throughout the year, which is neither too hot nor too cold, with regular rainfall. Each region in the country has a different climate - cooler to the north and west and warmer in the south. In winters there is plenty of snow. Summers are hot, with the sun shining across the country. Average temperatures in winter are around 8°C to 3°C. In summers, it is 15°C to 25°C. If you are travelling solo consider staying in hostels rather than hotels which are cheaper. Expect to pay around 15-25 Euros per night dor a dorm bed. Hotel prices can vary but are generally around 50-100 Euros per night. Paris is extremely expensive compared to other cities in the country, everywhere outside of Paris is cheaper.

Transport & Getting Around:
If you would like to travel independently public bus is the best way to travel across the country on a budget. If you would like to see more of Europe then consider buying an interrail pass.

Budget & Costs:
A suggested daily budget would be around 50 Euros but this really depends on your choice of accommodation and how many activities you would like to do.

Restaurants in France can be very expensive, you might want to buy food at local markets or supermarkets instead if you on a budget.
