Volunteer with Disadvantaged Children in Morocco

Play a key role in helping children in Rabat, the capital of Morocco and also the largest city in the country.

You will help NGO's who help children in orphanages, kindergardens and also who work in outreach helping disadvantaged children who live on the streets in places like Rabat. Morocco is a developed country but there are lots of children unfortunately not very well off, either uneducation, orphaned, homeless or living in poor conditions.

Roles can be varied but usually you will help local staff entertaining and educating children helping aged from todlers to late teens through daily routines. Some children might be disable or have special needs - this will be an eye opening experience which will be the most rewarding experience of your life. You will need to be creative and a good team player bring fun and energy - you could create and lead classes and games like music, arts, sport, dancing, singing and painting.

 

Accommodation

You will stay with a local family along with other international participants.

 

 

Start Dates

You can join every month, projects start the 1st and 3rd Monday on the month.

Requirements

- Must be aged 18+ on the start date
- Flexible attitude, open minded and lots of enthusiasm
- A criminal background check will also need to be provided
- You will not need to know Arabic to apply, but you will need to know English and basic French. Language classes can be joined in country.
