For tens of millions of people around the world, volunteering is an expression of support for a principle that encompasses the ideals of Volunteer Partnerships for West Africa activities: that by working together, we can make the world a better place for everyone.
I was very happy working in this NGO and living in Ghana. I volunteered for six months and I participated in different projects, such as planning, the Street Library Project, the Children’s Center and teaching English at a local school.
This was a great opportunity to gain international experience, living with people from all over the world, of different ages, cultures and socio-economic backgrounds, and you also work with many local people.
