We provide a framework for the exchange of ideas, information and resources to enhance the support of local communities. We provide support for volunteers especially as they transition into their new environment.
There are many ways to contribute to the communities in and around Arusha. We offer volunteer opportunities teaching, working in daycare centers, orphanages, with womens groups and more.

I have been living in Arusha, Tanzania for 12 weeks and have loved the school and volunteering. The friends I’ve met, the culture, Arusha is a very welcoming place. The vast majority of the staff is very friendly and nice but if you have any concerns it does take them a while to get back to you. Also, the accommodation is very simple. However, if the concerns or anything is not being handled properly by TVE contacting IVHQ (a partner placement company) will definitely get the problem resolved. Overall, I do recommend volunteering in Tanzania with TVE and participating for as long as possible. It will change your outlook on life and Tanzania will hold a very special place in your heart!
