Working in a Clubhotel

SkiBound operates 5 Clubhotels offering British schools exclusive accommodation options. Operated by our own mainly British staff, all of our Clubhotels vary in character and size and aim to provide a more relaxed and social atmosphere, whilst offering excellent value for money. Set amongst the beautiful French Alps, our choice of premier ski resorts all offer something different, from traditional French charm to lively après-ski activities.

To be eligible to join our team of in-resort Clubhotel staff you must be available to work from December until the end of April.

 

Short term positions

As well as Clubhotels, SkiBound also operates an extensive programme of locally managed hotels throughout Europe and North America. We have a number of short duration (8 or 9 day) resort representative roles for which a good level of spoken French is essential and would be delighted to hear from you if you possess such language skills.

Your role is to ensure the smooth operation of your school group’s trip, providing a professional service to the Party Leader of your group, in accordance with current guidelines and policies. There are a number of placements available in low season as well as during the peak UK school holiday dates, i.e. February half-term and the two main Easter weeks.

Our recruitment process

We aim to make the recruitment process as easy as possible to use with our TUI online portal including a vacancy search facility, online application form and interview system. Please ensure you have an email address you check regularly as most of our communication with you will be by email.

With a high number of applicants per role, we advise you complete the application form as soon as possible.

The selection process for most roles usually consists of an interview or assessment day and may also include a written test, presentation or group exercises. During the selection process, you will also learn more about working for SkiBound and the role you have applied for. Interviews are held across the UK.

You may also be asked to bring along documentation depending on the role you have applied for, e.g. passport and qualifications. All our staff are asked to complete a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
