Mutual Aid Projects

We believe in development by local people who are experts in their area. We then only respond to their demand according to their needs, relying on their skills and experiences.

Our three key principles:
1. Support local initiatives and meet the needs of disadvantaged populations in rural areas.
2. Rely on the skills and experience of village groups and the professionalism of our local coordination teams.
3. Guarantee project autonomy and ensure long-term follow-up.

Volunteer

Whether to hold a booth, translate texts, represent us or lend a hand punctually, Nouvelle Planète can count on a network of nearly 500 volunteers. Aged 17 to 89, they are very familiar with our plans to have, for the most part, participated in a trip of mutual assistance.

We seek to limit our operating costs to the maximum. We are particularly interested in receiving advice in the field of digital communication, graphic design or computer science.

Currently, we are looking for native German speaking volunteers for translations from French to German. Apart from self-help journeys, we do not offer internships or volunteer work abroad.
