Spray Operator/Technician

We are currently recruiting for a certified spray operator or technician. The ideal candidate will have experience in a related area and will have the following:

  • good level of English
  • an interest in, or currently studying Horticulture or agriculture
  • knowledge of and interest in the calibration and maintenance and repair of machine operated and hand-held sprayers
  • capable of following and adhering to all related food safety and health and safety regulations
  • You must have attention to detail, be prepared to work in a multicultural environment and have the ability to work under pressure
  • The ideal candidate will be able to start immediately.


Accounts/Admin Assistant

We have are now recruiting for an accounts assistant/office administrator.  This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to gain hands-on experience in a broad range of accountancy and business areas.

The ideal candidate will have a positive and can-do attitude, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong accounting and computer experience, and great organizational skills, flexible, proactive team player who is results-oriented and enthusiastic.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • More than 3 years proven experience in a similar role or be part-qualified OR a Finance/Accountancy graduate and will have at least 1+ years of relevant experience in accounting.
  • Have excellent English
  • Experience in accounts payable/receivable , payroll, bank reconciliations with knowledge and experience in use of basic accounting packages e.g. Sage, Big Red Book, Thesaurus.
  • Flexible and adaptable to new tasks and initiatives with ability to work on own initiative and/or as part of a team when required.
  • Interest in assisting in the development and implementation of Lean systems across all areas of the business.


Supervisor

We are always on the lookout for enthusiastic creative workers that like a challenge and we currently recruiting for an experienced supervisor for fruit picking. Previous experience in a supervisory role is essential for this job. You must enjoy working outdoors whatever the weather, be enthusiastic about what we do as well as:

  • have fluent English
  • and an interest in, or currently studying Horticulture or food production or similar
  • You must have attention to detail, be prepared to work in a multicultural environment and have the ability to work under pressure
  • The ideal candidate should be available to start work in March


Fruit Pickers

We are now recruiting for fruit pickers of strawberries, raspberries and blackberries on our busy family run fruit farm. This is a fast-paced work environment and our staff must reach daily team productivity targets while also ensuring to carry out all required tasks diligently and with attention to detail in line with health and safety standards.  Experience is ideal but not essential as training will be provided. Good English language ability is a must.


General Operatives

We are now recruiting our team of general operatives to join our soft fruit operations team in Wexford, Ireland. Previous experience working in an agricultural or similar horticultural environment is will be highly regarded.

As a general operative you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of our busy family owned and operated soft fruit farm. We are currently seeking honest, self-motivated and good-natured general operatives who have a passion for working outside and carrying out the following tasks:

  • Sowing, planting, clipping plants, preparing areas for planting out, loading and unloading of plants etc.
  • Polytunnel and glasshouse construction and maintenance
  • Stock management
  • Cleaning and general farm maintenance

This is a fast-paced work environment and our staff must reach daily team productivity targets while also ensuring to carry out all required tasks diligently and with attention to detail and according to health and safety standards. This position will require you to work in challenging weather conditions and requires a lot of manual handling and lifting.
