Elephant Hills are Thailand’s first Luxury Tented Jungle Camps, combining the camp idea of African national parks with the Thai tropical forest environment.

We offer 2-4 day nature soft adventure tours in and around the stunningly beautiful Khao Sok area.

The Elephant Camp comprises 35 luxurious, tailor-made tents and has successfully been operated since over 10 years. The floating Rainforest Camp, one of the world’s only luxury floating tented camps, was opened in 2011 and is situated on the emerald green waters of Cheow Larn Lake.

Both camps are situated in the Khao Sok National Park in Southern Thailand, approximately two hours apart from each other, close to popular beach destinations like Phuket, Khao Lak, Krabi and even Koh Samui. To facilitate travels to Elephant Hills Luxury Tented Camps, all transfers to and from Elephant Hills are included in the tour packages. In addition to transfers, all Elephant Hills tours are fully inclusive of accommodation, activities, meals as well as the services of an English speaking, fully trained, TAT-licensed tour guide.

Due to ethical reasons we do not offer elephant riding at Elephant Hills. Instead, you will get to feed, wash and interact with Asia’s largest land animal during our unique, award-winning Elephant Experience.

The most amazing experience

I have been travelling the world for over 13 years and Elephants Hills has been one of my top experiences. Not only was the location and accommodation fantastic and very in tune with nature but the staff and guides were so friendly. They welcomed us with open arms. Our time in the jungle as well as at the floating campsite on Cheow Larn Lake were amazing. One of my favourite things was the elephant experience and I will never forget feeding and washing the elephants. This was indeed a life changing experience!

The most amazing place

We went to Elephant hills in February and it was the best part of our holiday , wish we had , had more time there . Feeding and washing the elephants 🐘 was amazing.
The camp was great and food amazing, our guide Linda was very good and so was bamboo another guide. The lake camp was incredible, a great experience.

Best holiday experience!

We adored this place! We are well travelled but this just "got us". It was amazing! The food was great, service awesome and the scenery was something else! It will be different to anything you have ever done before. We loved their link with the local school and giving back to the community. We will never forget waking up to the monkeys fighting at the lake! It is worth every single penny.

Best experience ever!

We completed the 3 day safari with elephant hills and it really was the best experience. Our tour guide Banana was fantastic! She is very knowledgable of the area, very interested in making sure you have the best experience and so helpful. Washing and feeding the elephants is such a great experience and the elephants are really well looked after by all the staff, it’s lovely to see. Everything is taken care of, the accommodation is far better than expected, with everything you need. Kayaking on the beautiful lake and waking up to the sound of gibbons is just incredible. I highly recommend elephant hill to anyone looking for a safe elephant experience with so much more!
